We’ve compiled a list of the most commonly asked EMS Training questions we receive below. Just in case we’ve missed anything, please get in touch with us and we’ll try and answer all your questions.

How much do the sessions cost?

We offer a range of packages to suit your needs. The prices vary depending on the location of the training, whether you buy one class or a pack. Please get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to discuss further.

What do I need to bring to the session?
Just yourself. We provide specialized clothing so you don’t even need to bring gym wear. Trainers are recommended but again, not essential. You can train in your socks or barefoot if you prefer.
 
How long does it take to see visible results?
Everyone’s physiology is different but our rule of thumb is that after 4 sessions, results become visible.
How often should I train?
Depending on your level of fitness and how fast you’d like to see results, we generally recommend starting off with 2 sessions per week for the first few weeks. Once your desired results are starting to show, you can shift your training into maintenance mode and decrease your training with us to once a week.
How long does a training session last?
The training itself lasts 20 minutes. The pre-workout consultation, getting in and out of your technical suit as well as post-workout stretching and relaxation take between 15 and 20 minutes. All in all, the session takes around 45 minutes.
Can I train together with a friend or my partner?
Yes! Our EMS machine is able to train two people at once. Twice the fun and cheaper sessions. Get in touch with us for details.
I've seen other EMS devices out there, is yours better?
We think so, for 4 simple reasons:

1. Our EMS device is equipped with a special piece of technology which minimises the electrical load reaching your body, while maintaining the intensity of the muscle stimulating impulse.

2. Because our technical suit consists of both a vest and shorts, it allows for free movement, enabling you to perform a wider range of exercises than many other suits.

3. Our specially designed electrodes have a large surface area and excellent conductivity, meaning they distribute the impulses evenly across the entire muscle surface whilst reducing stress on individual muscle sections.

4. We can train both you and someone else at the same time!

Do I need to do any other exercise?
We do recommend supplementing your Body Impulse workouts with some cardio work to further enhance your level of fitness.
What about nutrition?
Nutrition is key. Healthy and balanced nutrition are essential for your body to function properly and for you to achieve your goals. Our trainer will be more than happy to provide nutritional advice during your sessions.
Is EMS training safe?
YES! The impulses emitted by the EMS device are completely safe, operating at an extremely low voltage (max 0.05 Watt RMS), much like the body’s own bioelectric impulses.

In spite of this, we unfortunately cannot train you if you are pregnant, susceptible to epilepsy or any other convulsive disorders, carry a pacemaker or suffer from any other heart condition or circulatory problem.
